Watt Studios Summer Open Day
Sunday 20th August 2017
Watt Studios first Summer Open Day was a roaring success when again visitors were invited free of charge to sample all that it has to offer. From Studio Cycling classes to the new TRX (suspension training), Metafit, Metapwr, Kettlercise, Combat Aerobics, Mixed Martial Arts, Tap, Ballet & Line Dancing, Dru Yoga and Insanity, there was something for everybody aged three and up. Personal Trainer and Nutritionalist, Kate Hill, was also on-hand to offer body composition readings and nutritional advice.
There are now 12 instructors offering over 50 classes in 3 beautiful studios on a weekly basis.
Studio owner, Denise Watt-Pringle is also continually fundraising, through monthly raffles, for Heartbeat of Sport, a West Yorkshire charity who raise awareness of the issues of sudden cardiac arrest in sport, and raise funds for cardiac screening programmes and after care. Games and raffles were run during the Open Day, raising a combined total of £200 for the charity.
