Jenny is a Dru Yoga Teacher and Nutritional Therapist, who was diagnosed with ME in 2006 and she uses yoga and nutrition to help with pain management, energy levels and relaxation. She incorporates nutrition tips into her Yoga classes to give a whole body experience and to encourage people to look after themselves on both the inside and the out.
What is Dru Yoga? What makes it special?
There are many different types of yoga and the difference between them depends on what they focus on. Many people appreciate Dru because anyone can do it, regardless of age, body shape or ability. Dru is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. It is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, yet it can take you to any level of fitness you’d like, improving your strength, flexibility and building core stability.
Dru specialises in integrating your body, mind and spirit. Dru uses classical yoga and meditation techniques to help you positively transform how you think, how to keep your motions uplifted as well as how to revitalise your body. You will always feel great when you do Dru!
